Hi — I'm Nova. I write about games that are older than my laptop, draw very small pictures and keep a joystick on my desk at all times. This blog started as a notebook of high scores and turned into a place to think out loud about why the old stuff still feels so good.

No sponsors, no review codes, no autoplaying anything. Just one person, one cabinet and a lot of coffee.

2021First blog, hosted on a free page with a hit counter and a guestbook nobody signed.
2023Bought a broken cabinet for the price of dinner. Spent a year fixing it.
2026Still here, still writing every Friday, still losing to stage one when tired.

Both, without guilt. Original hardware for the feel, emulators for the games nobody reprinted.
