Hello — I'm Ari. I write about interfaces that aged badly, desks that never stay tidy, and the small pleasure of a page that loads instantly.

This blog started as a folder of screenshots I could not throw away. Old media players, wallpapers with fish in them, buttons that looked like sweets. Eventually the folder needed somewhere to live, so here we are.

How it's made

Plain HTML and one stylesheet. No framework, no build step, no cookie banner, no tracking. It loads in well under a second on a phone, which feels like the whole point.
